  An asbestattest describes identified asbestos materials and their management. It does not certify that a building is entirely asbestos-free and does not automatically replace pre-work investigation.

• Asbestos roofing: preparing removal and pricing

  A photograph of corrugated sheets cannot confirm asbestos. Start with an existing report or analysis before removal. Roofing, access and waste destination then determine the project.

• Asbestos in cellars: pipes, insulation and boiler rooms

  ‘Removing asbestos from a cellar’ may involve a pipe, insulation, panels or several materials. First identify what needs treatment. Floor area alone cannot price the project.

• Asbestos waste: collection, transport and records

  Removal and disposal are two steps to plan together. Home collection or recycling-centre access does not automatically include dismantling. Not every route accepts every asbestos type.
