Removal and a new roof: define both scopes
Ask who removes the materials, who makes the building weatherproof and who installs the new roof. Describe street or garden access, garage use and preferred dates. Asbestos removal does not automatically include replacement roofing, insulation or solar installation. Ordered items must appear in the offer.
Solar panels: check the roof before scheduling
In Flanders, OVAM prohibits solar panels and over-roofing on an asbestos roof. Scheduling therefore starts with identifying the roof material.
